#1 Darius Nesmith

Prospectus: Late addition to the Patriots’ recruiting class will add depth to the backcourt...can knock down the open 3-pointer...solid ball-handler...a natural leader with great prep pedigree.

Achievements: Helped Notre Dame Prep to a 28-4 season, averaging 8 points and 7 assists...played for the program that produced NBA players Michael Beasley and Ryan Gomes, among others.

Personal: Born Dec. 25, 1989 in Baltimore, Md….son of Owen Nesmith and Angela Giles.

#2 Rahshon Tabb

Prospectus: Physical guard who can handle larger opponents defensively...rebounds well from the backcourt...uses size to protect the ball, absorb contact and finish in traffic...good shooter.  

Achievements: Returning sophomore...first-team all-MFC performer...averaged 11.6 points and 3.25 rebounds per game...shot 37 percent from 3-point range and 79 percent on free throws...started 23 games...2007-08 Buffalo News Player of the Year.

Personal: Born March 8, 1989 in Niagara Falls, N.Y….son of Barbara Tabb and Eugene Simmons...has a sister, Catia Bass...a sports management major.

#3 Travis Johnson

Prospectus: Consistent performer can play either guard position effectively...shoots well from 3-point range...gained experience and leadership qualities as a starter last year.

Achievements: Returning sophomore...played all 32 games as a freshman with 28 starts... averaging 4.4 points and 2.5 assists per game...leads all returning players in steals with 27...a Class A-3A second-team selection by the Gainesville Sun in 2007.

Personal: Born March 15, 1989 in Gainesville, Fla.…the son of Reggie and Vicky Johnson...has a brother, Reggie Johnson Jr….a criminal justice major.

#5 Josh Proctor

Prospectus: Scores in a variety of ways...pairs an accomplished post game with an above-average outside stroke...disruptive defender with long arms and good instincts ...competes in the paint despite thin build.

Achievements: Returning sophomore...second-team all-MFC choice as a freshman...averaged 11 points and 5.6 rebounds per game...added 26 blocks and 25 steals...started 24 times.

Personal: Born July 29, 1990 in Steelton, Pa....son of Donna Proctor...has five siblings, Brian, Ryan, Mike, Jerrica and Erica...majors in business administration.

#12 Daniel Chatchou-Tchigoua

Prospectus: Adds depth and length to the Patriots’ frontcourt ranks...knocks down outside shots and can score in the paint...physical post defender.

Achievements: Ranked among Africa’s top 100 prospects out of high school...Participated in the NBA’s Basketball Without Borders camp in 2007 and 2008, making the camp all-star team each year and leading that game in scoring in 2008.

Personal: Born May 4, 1989 in Douala, Cameroon….son of Joe and Therese Tchigoua...has three siblings, Hubert, Victoire, and Berthe.

#15 Victor Jackson

Prospectus: Extremely athletic guard who finishes above the rim...good on-ball defender with solid help defense instincts...has developed into a very good shooter...high-energy enthusiastic player….versatile wing can contribute from multiple positions.

Achievements: Returning sophomore...averaged 7.3 points and 3 rebounds as a freshman...played in all 32 games with 14 starts...an honorable mention all-MFC performer.

Personal: Born March 11, 1990 in Lafayette, La...the son of Brenda Simien...has three sisters, Anastasia, Sygourney, and Jaune...a liberal arts major.

#20 Ricardo Ratliffe

Prospectus: A national player of the year candidate...major Division I talent...dominant post player on offense and defense...shoots well from outside..can handle the ball in the open court.

Achievements: Set CFCC single-season scoring record as a freshman...first-team All-America selection, the first in program history...led the state in scoring average (26.6) and added 11.1 rebounds per game and 41 blocked shots...Virginia Class 3A State Player of the Year in 2008.

Personal: Born Feb. 20, 1989 in Hampton, Va....the son of Kismyt Ratliffe and Leonard Johnson...has two siblings, Jasmine Thomas and Keon Ratliffe...majors in art design.

#21 Slobodan Miljanic

Prospectus: Long-time international competitor brings a wealth of experience to the Patriots... outstanding outside shooter...good passing ability and court awareness.

Achievements: Has represented Montenegro on the nation’s under-16, under-18 and under-20 national teams...helped the under-20 team to a seventh-place finish at the European championships, averaging 8 points per game and shooting 42.7 percent on 3-pointers.

Personal: Born Sept. 18, 1990 in Kotor, Montenegro….son of Stanko and Vasa Miljanic…has a brother, Marko, and a sister, Jelena.

#22 Kenny Williams

Prospectus: Lightning-quick point guard is impossible to keep out of the paint...makes good decisions and limits turnovers...offensive creativity adds new facet to Patriots’ offense.

Achievements: Returning sophomore...projected starter lost 19 games of freshman season to injury...recorded 35 assists against 9 turnovers, a nearly 4-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio...2008 Gainesville Sun player of the year.

Personal: Born Sept. 4, 1988 in Lake City, Fla….son of Lawanda Rentz and the late Kenneth Williams, Sr…has three siblings, Christa Williams, Kendrick Williams and Asherah Collins.

#24 Jeffery Neal

Prospectus: A rugged physical presence in the paint...corrals and converts offensive rebounds...blocks and changes opponents’ shots...great athleticism for his size...finishes strong around the basket.

Achievements: Returning sophomore... Patriots went undefeated in his 7 starts at center...averaged 3.6 points and 2.6 rebounds in 28 games...shot 54 percent from the field.

Personal: Born April 30, 1990 in Ocala, Fla.…the son of Jeff and Nicki Neal...has two siblings, Jazmine Neal and Brandon Bolden….majors in psychology.

#25 Justin Cecil

Prospectus: Versatile big man with an outstanding shooting stroke...outside game complements Ratliffe’s inside efforts...brings Division I experience...solid post defender.

Achievements: Sophomore transfer from the University of North Florida...redshirt at UNF in 2008-09...played 12 games for the Ospreys in 2007-08, averaging 8 points and 5 rebounds while starting 8 times...second-team all-state performer at Lakeland Christian Academy.

Personal: Born July 9, 1988 in Akron, Ohio...the son of Rick and Heidi Cecil...has a sister, Kara Cecil...a psychology major.
